Oakland traveled North and played Milwaukee hard winning an OT thriller followed by a setback in the finale in the closing minutes
GAME 20 AT MILWAUKEE (2/12/21):
With the game tied in overtime at 82-82,
Breanna Perry took an inbound pass, was fouled under the basket, and split a pair of free ensuing throws with two seconds left to give Oakland a wild 83-82 win at Milwaukee on Friday night. The Panthers had a chance to respond on the ensuing possession but committed their 30th turnover of the game. Freshman
Lamariyee Williams hit her first collegiate 3-pointer as time expired on the shot clock which gave Oakland a 82-78 lead with 15 seconds left. However, Milwaukee got a quick two points, forced a turnover, and tied the game at 82-82 from the free throw line off an Oakland foul off the ball.
Kahlaijah Dean scored a team-high 19 points with seven assists while
Chloe Guingrich added 14 points on 7-of-10 shooing from the field off the bench after missing the last two games.
Autumn Kissman also reached double figures with 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
Perry just missed a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds while Williams finished with seven points.
Jalisha Terry and
Alona Blackwell each finished with eight points with four and three steals respectively.

GAME 21 AT MILWAUKEE (2/13/21):
Kahlaijah Dean became the 29th player in program history to reach 1000 career points as she scored 20 points in the fourth quarter en route to pouring in a new career-high 34 points on 10-of-24 shooting from the field, 4-for-9 from 3-point range and 10-of-11 from the free throw line while grabbing a team-high nine rebounds with three assists as Oakland battled but came up short at Milwaukee, 69-66, on Saturday at the Klotsche Center.
Breanne Beatty added nine points matching a career-high going 3-for-6 from 3-point range with two steals while
Lamariyee Williams added eight points going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line with two steals off the bench.
Oakland (11-10, 11-7 HL) forced 19 Milwaukee (16-6, 13-5 HL) turnovers resulting in 13 points on the offensive end of the floor. Led by
Autumn Kissman's two offensive rebounds, Oakland did a great job crashing the offensive glass, pulling down 11 boards that resulted in seven second-chance points.

UP NEXT: HORIZON LEAGUE REGULAR SEASON FINALE VS NKU
The series between Oakland and NKU is tied at 8-8. The Norse enter the upcoming weekend series as the No. 8 seed with a 6-4 league mark after dropping the last four consecutive games. NKU is led by redshirt junior guard Lindsay Duvall who leads the team in scoring (15.3 – 6th HL). Senior forward Kailey Coffey leads the team in rebounds (7.7 – 6th HL) while sophomore guard Ivy Turner is tops on the team in assists (2.7 – 11th – HL).
