OAKLAND UNIVERSITY GUIDE FOR GUESTS WITH A DISABILITY

* Updated for the 2021-22 season

The Oakland University athletic department has established these policies and procedures in an effort to ensure that our guests with a disability enjoy their game day experience at the OU Credit Union O'rena. If you have questions about these policies and procedures, please contact a facilities department representative.

PARKING
Parking for guests with mobility impairments is available in lot P16 (pictured below), which is across from the main entrance of the OU Credit Union O'rena. Several handicap-reserved spots are available at a first-come, first serve basis on game days. If full, additional handicap-reserved spots can be found east of the OU Credit Union O'rena in lot P26. All parking for persons with disabilities requires a State-Issued Disability Parking Placard or license plate.

WILL CALL
Tickets can be picked up at the will call table inside the OU Credit Union O'rena vestibule on game day, or during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM) at the Athletics Ticket Office prior to game day. Photo identification is required for all tickets picked up at will call.

RESTROOMS
Accessible restrooms are located in the main concourse behind the North Bleachers of the OU Credit Union O'rena. Corner handicap stalls can be found in each open restroom.

TICKETING/SEATING
Accessible (wheelchair) seating is available inside the OU Credit Union O'rena located at the top of each section. These tickets are only purchasable from an Oakland ticket representative via phone call or in person.

The following ticketing/seating policies and procedures will be in place for persons with a disability:
If wheelchair accessible seating is needed, a person must provide their tickets for exchange to the Athletics Ticket Office as soon as possible during regular business hours to ensure a wheelchair accessible seat with a companion seat is available. Guests with disabilities may also exchange tickets at the box office on game day beginning one hour prior to the game. Ticket exchanges are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No season ticket or individual game ticket will be sold or exchanged to customers without disabilities (other than non-disabled companions of guests who use wheelchairs) in any wheelchair seating location or companion seat.

If you desire to purchase season tickets located in the wheelchair accessible and companion seating, please contact the Oakland Athletics Ticket Office at (248) 370-4000 or outickets@oakland.edu.Â
