ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University women's basketball team has announced its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, featuring 11 highly touted matchups as the Golden Grizzlies look to enter the upcoming season on a high note.
Oakland opens the campaign at home on Nov. 2, welcoming Cleary to the OU Credit Union O'rena for the annual Math Hoops Day matchup against the in-state opponent. The Golden Grizzlies then travel to Madison, Wis., on Nov. 5 to take on Wisconsin for the second consecutive season, looking to build off a close contest with the Badgers last season.
Oakland returns to Michigan for a pair of in-state matchups, hosting Rochester Christian on Nov. 8 before heading to East Lansing to face another Big Ten opponent in Michigan State on Nov. 11.
The Golden Grizzlies continue non-conference play on Nov. 15, traveling to Oxford, Ohio, for a matchup against Miami (Ohio). Oakland then returns home to take on Eastern Michigan on Nov. 18 before a pair of Illinois showdowns against Northwestern on Nov. 23 and Eastern Illinois on Nov. 29.
After opening December with an introduction to Horizon League play, the Golden Grizzlies close non-conference action with three final games. Oakland travels west to face Arizona on Dec. 16, heads to Kalamazoo to take on the Broncos on Dec. 19, and wraps up the non-conference slate with a Midwest matchup against Toledo on Dec. 22.
