Rochester, Mich. – The Golden Grizzlies women's basketball program officially celebrated National Signing Day on Nov. 12, announcing the signing of Class of 2026 point guard Cece Bonner.
A local product from Muskegon, Mich., Bonner is an electric prospect with elite court vision, ball-handling skills, and the ability to attack the basket—making her the newest addition to a program with a long lineage of standout point guards.
During her time at Muskegon High School, Bonner earned All-District Team honors in 2023, averaging 14.1 points, seven rebounds, and four assists per game in her All-Conference campaign. She was also named a Jr. All-Star from 2023 to 2025, earned a spot on BCAM's Best List, and was recognized on the AP All-State Team. She led the Lady Reds to a first-place finish in the district as a sophomore in 2023, going a flawless 14-0 in conference play.
The signing of Bonner continues a new era of Oakland women's basketball, highlighted by a fast-paced style, hard-nosed defense, and a second-to-none work ethic.
