ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland University women's tennis team competes for the final time in 2025 as they head south to partake in the Rocket Twos Indoor Tournament over Halloween weekend.

The tournament, hosted by the University of Toledo, begins at 9 AM on both Friday and Saturday at the Twos Athletic Club, the indoor home of the Rockets. In their second appearance in the tournament, Oakland will face Toledo, Dayton, and Cleveland State in the two-day event.

Matches will begin at 9 AM on Friday and continue through Sunday. The schedule for Friday and Saturday includes two rounds of singles and one round of doubles. Sunday will feature the singles final, as well as the doubles semifinals and final.

Doubles play will kick off the tournament each day, with the Golden Grizzlies facing Horizon League competitor Cleveland State to start. Singles place will be divided into Blue Singles and Gold Singles. The top three singles players from each school will compete in the Blue Singles, while the fourth, fifth, and sixth players compete in the Gold Singles. Singles play will start on Friday at 10 AM and 11 AM on Saturday.

In last year's tournament, the team went 10-16 against players from Toledo and Cleveland State. Five of the seven athletes still remain on the team, looking to improve from last year. Emilia Jarvinen, Edie Hammond, and Martyna Piechowicz led the Golden Grizzlies with three wins each.
