ROCHESTER, Mich. – The men's golf team wraps up the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule this weekend, traveling to western Ohio for the Dayton Flyer Invitational.

Play begins at 8:45 A.M. (ET) with shotgun starts at the NCR Country Club - South Course (par-71, 7,004 yds). The 54-hole event begins on Monday with two rounds, and continues with the final round on Tuesday.

Twelve teams will be competing in the invitational: Ball State, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, DePaul, Illinois State, Loyola Chicago, Marshall, Oakland, Ohio, Toledo, and Wright State. This marks Oakland's return to the Dayton Flyer Invitational since the 2022-23 season, where they finished 12th overall.

Oakland has previously faced all but two teams in this field; host Dayton and Marshall will be new competitors this season. In the last two invitationals with the competing programs, only Butler has placed ahead of the Golden Grizzlies.

Jack Zubkus, Brennan Sullivan, Robert Burns, Ellis Kinnaird, and Matteo Rocco will represent Oakland for the second straight invitational. With the Dayton Flyer Invitational being their third invitational in three weeks, the Golden Grizzlies are seeking a third consecutive top-three finish. The team will tee off on holes five through nine alongside Ohio, DePaul, and Loyola Chicago in the opening round.
