ROCHESTER, Mich. – Thomas Giroux of the Oakland University Men's Golf team will be the first to compete in program history at the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships May 27-30 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Giroux finished third overall at the NCAA Regionals in Columbus, Ohio a few weeks ago to be the representative in an Oakland uniform. The grad student is the only Horizon League athlete to partake in the event as Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Arkansas, and East Tennessee State advanced as teams out of the regional.

156 total student-athletes will take to the Grayhawk Golf Club as Giroux is set to tee off from hole one starting at 1:42 on the par 70 course over 7289 yards.
