THREE GOLDEN GRIZZLY GOLFERS AND COACH EARN 2022 #HLGOLF ALL-LEAGUE HONORS

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On Friday, the Horizon League announced its 2022 #HLGolf All-League Awards as three individuals of Oakland University's Men's and Women's Golf programs earned postseason accolades.

Shahzan received Golfer of the Year Accolades after completing the 2022 Horizon League Championships in 212 (72-70-70) which was seven under 73 par in Florida for the individual title. This subsequently gives Shahzan a place on the All-Horizon League First Team list.

Head Women's Golf Coach Alyssa Gaudio Guss earned her third Horizon League coach of the year as she led the Golden Grizzlies to a team title and a berth in the NCAA Regionals for May 9-11 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

On the men's side, Thomas Giroux finished the 2022 Horizon League Championships with a All-League First Team honor as the grad student from Canada completed the course to finish third overall in 211 (70-70-71).
