Head Coach Jeff Tungate caught up with Jason Ross Jr. to reflect on the pride he takes in playing a roll helping student-athletes graduate and preparing them for life after college. He also touched on the team's sweep over RMU and keeping the momentum going leading into this weekend's #HLWBB series at Milwaukee.

Behind some blistering shooting from the field, Oakland locked down its fourth #HLWBB sweep of the season

GAME 18 VS ROBERT MORRIS (2/5/21): Kahlaijah Dean poured in a team-high 25 points going 7-for-14 from the field and 4-for-6 from long range while Autumn Kissman added 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting for the second time this season helping Oakland snap a two-game skid with an 83-71 win over Robert Morris on Friday. The Golden Grizzlies shot a season-high 12-for-19 (63.2%) from downtown and season second-best 28-for-54 (51.9%) from the field while matching a season-high 23 assists for the third time this season on 28 made field goals.
 
Dean just missed a double-double with nine rebounds while delivering five assists and four steals. Brianna Breedy dished out a game-high seven assists just missing her career-high by one while adding four points and two steals. Teneea Heston also had six points matching a career-best going 2-for-2 from long range. Kayla Luchenbach added seven points hitting her first 3-pointer of the season while Alona Blackwell also had seven points. GAME 19 VS ROBERT MORRIS (2/6/21): Head Coach Jeff Tungate got his 100th career win as Oakland had five players in double-figures with Kahlaijah Dean scoring a game-high 21 points followed by Alona Blackwell with 14, Autumn Kissman 12 and Breanne Beatty and Lamariyee Williams with 11 each to complete the weekend sweep over Robert Morris on Saturday afternoon, 84-77. The Golden Grizzlies shot 51.9% from the field for the second consecutive game and 46.7% (7-for-15) from 3-point range to reach the season-high 84 points. UP NEXT: BIG ROAD SERIES AT MILWAUKEE
Oakland leads the overall series against Milwaukee, 12-11, after splitting both regular season match-ups last season before falling to Milwaukee in the first round of the 2020 Horizon League Tournament. The Panthers are led by redshirt sophomore forward Meghan Walsted who leads the team in scoring (13.0 – 12th HL) and rebounds (9.2 – 1st HL) while redshirt senior guard McKaela Schmelzer is topps on the team in assists (3.3 – 7th – HL).
