ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland men's golf team will compete in the Xavier Invitational hosted by Xavier University Oct. 18-19.

Last week the men finished sixth at the Georgia State Invitational, with Thomas Giroux winning the tournament. Giroux shot 68-66-70 and finished two strokes ahead of the runner-up. 

The Xavier Invitational is the last fall tournament for the men.
