Oakland had to rally to win their third and fourth consecutive league games after holding off a very game Purdue Fort Wayne squad that held a halftime lead in both games.
GAME 14 VS PURDUE FORT WAYNE (1/22/21):
Kahlaijah Dean posted her first double-double of the season scoring a game-high 14 points with a career-high 12 rebounds, six assists and career-best three blocks while
Chloe Guingrich and
Sydney Gouard added 11 and 10 points respectively coming off the bench as Oakland held off Purdue Fort Wayne, 58-49, on Friday to win their third straight game after trailing at the half.
Breanna Perry and
Autumn Kissman also added six points each.

GAME 15 VS PURDUE FORT WAYNE (1/23/21):
Kahlaijah Dean recorded her second consecutive double-double with a game-high 21 points going 6-for-12 from the field and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line while dishing a career-high 12 assists with seven rebounds and two blocks as Oakland used a strong fourth-quarter scoring 27 points to defeat Purdue Fort Wayne, 73-61, at home Saturday afternoon.
Breanne Beatty tacked on 10 points and six rebounds while
Breanna Perry also added a career-high eight points going a perfect 8-for-8 from the field.
Alona Blackwell added seven points and two steals.
UP NEXT: ROAD SERIES AGAINST AT CLEVELAND
Cleveland State on the season at 3-7 in conference play overall and leads the overall series against Oakland 10-5 winning the last six straight games. Sophomore guard Mariah While leads the team and league in scoring (19.4) and she also is topps on the team in assists (3.4). Redshirt-junior forward Nadia Dumas leads the team in rebounds (6.5) which also ranks 10th in the league
