ROCHESTER, Mich. – Vilie Ahola, Gabriel Baylon, Julian Beausire, Remco Gielen, Kieran Hayes, Mohammad Issa, Sebastian Nuzzo, Darek Panucci, Logan Penton, Diego Perez, Jaiden Ramsay-Kelly, Nicholas Rolink, Taiga Shiokawa and Arthur Widiez have been added to the Oakland men's soccer 2020 recruiting class for the upcoming season announced Head Coach Eric Pogue on Friday. The class is currently ranked No. 21 in the latest Top Drawer Soccer.com June recruiting rankings.

"Our 2020 recruiting class was really a labor of love for me that started in mid-November one student-athlete at a time, or as I say, Brick-By-Brick," said Pogue. "I really wanted to go back to our Pioneer NCAA Division II roots of recruiting top talent in Michigan, mixed with a few Midwesterners, and a predominately international-based class with players coming from 12 different nations worldwide."
 
"A lot of time, energy and passion was put into securing this 21st ranked class in the nation which includes the perfect mix of fantastic individual talent combined with equal or better intangibles in the classroom, campus and in the community," added Pogue. "Each student-athlete will be a great representative of Oakland University and the Oakland men's soccer 48-year legacy of sustained excellence."
