ORLANDO, Fla. - Darya Maltseva grinded out a 7-5, 4-6, 10-7, win over Rachel Harden at the No. 3 singles position and teamed with Alexandra Whall for a 6-1 victory over Adrienne Clayton and Haleigh Porter at the No. 3 doubles spot helping Oakland bounce back with a 6-1 win over Florida A&M at the USTA National Campus on Friday.

After securing the doubles point, Oakland (5-3) delivered straight set wins in 4-of-6 singles matches. Ava Thielman defeated Porter (6-0, 6-2) at the No. 1 spot, Emma Hultqvist downed Ofure Osabuohlen (6-4, 6-2) at No. 4 followed by Samantha Galloway who took out Karen Macisha (6-2, 6-0) at No. 5 and Chelsea Dzenga who downed Adrienne Clayton (7-6 (10-5), 6-1) at No. 6.

The Golden Grizzlies conclude their Sunshine State road swing against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, 11:30 a.m.
