
ROCHESTER, Mich. – Kendall Folley, Kennedie Montue, Prunelle Mungo, Olivia Sims and Helen Staley have signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Oakland women's basketball team for the 2020-21 season announced Head Coach
Jeff Tungate.
"This is a great recruiting class and we had to beat out many outstanding programs to put this class together. Our staff deserves a tremendous amount of credit, for working extremely hard, to assemble this talented group," said Tungate. "All five have a great passion for the game of basketball and love to be in the gym. They fit our style of play and will be a lot of fun to watch over the next four years. They are tremendous student-athletes and will represent Oakland University extremely well, on and off the court."
KENDALL FOLLEY (5-7) – PG
Hometown: Lebanon, Ohio
High School: Lebanon

• Ranked in District 15 Top-10 underclassman for three consecutive years (2017-20)

KENNEDIE MONTUE (5-11) – G

• 2019-20 Valley News Player of the Year and All-Conference and Second-Team All-State selection as a junior
• Earned VND First-Team honors as a sophomore averaging 22.1 points and 9.0 rebounds
• Helped AAU WPA Bruins to three consecutive championships (2018, 2019, 2020)
• Two-time First-Team All-Section member
• Eclipsed 1000 career points mark and needs 241 points to become Plum's all-time leading scorer, also ranked No, 9 in Pennsylvania 2021 class
• Three-time team MVP, Three-time MVP for Christmas and Tip-Off Tournaments
PRUNELLE MUNGO (6-2) – F
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.

• Helped Neumann Goretti to fourth consecutive PIAA 3A State Championship as a freshman (2018) and consecutive city titles as a sophomore (2018, 2019)

OLIVIA SIMS (5-9) – G
Hometown: Toledo, Ohio
High School: Notre Dame Academy
Highlights:
• First-Team All-League and All-District selection and Third-Team All-State selection as a junior
• Helped Notre Dame win three consecutive league and district championships (2018, 2019, 2020), two regional titles (2019, 2020) and back-two-back State Tournament Final Four appearances.

HELEN STALEY (6-0) – F
Hometown: Rosemount, Minn.
