POSITION SPOTLIGHT: SENIOR GUARD PLAY
We caught up with senior guard
Jalisha Terry who checked in to discuss how practice is going so far, her team expectations and role as a leader on the team.
2019-20 Highlights:
• Ranked second in the league in free throw percentage (84.7) and 32nd nationally
• Tied for the team lead in assists (3.0 – 6th HL), ranked second in scoring (10.5 – 15th HL) and steals (1.0 – 23rd HL)
• Also ranked third in league in assist/turnover ratio (1.6) and 15th in 3-point field goals made per game (1.3)
• Scored in double figures 13 times with two 20+ point games
• Had five 5+ assists games and three 3+ steal games

- Three-time Honor Roll selection
- All-Horizon League Second Team selection
- Recorded eight double-doubles on the season to rank first all-time in program history for most double-doubles in the Division I era with 32

Olivia Nash checked in before preparing to travel back across the pond to begin her fifth season playing professionally overseas.

"Being an Oakland alum is a huge blessing! The friendships I have formed during my career at Oakland are going to last a lifetime. Oakland helped me grow as a young woman and has also taught a lot of valuable lessons both on and off the court. Oakland will always hold a special place in my heart."
Favorite memory playing overseas…
"Traveling and playing abroad has brought me so many amazing people and memories. I've also learned a lot about myself as an individual. I think there are too many good memories to pick just one, but, definitely winning a championship and meeting my amazing boyfriend are some of the best along with my parents and brother visiting while I was in Luxembourg."
