AKRON, Ohio – The Oakland tennis team continued the 2020 season with a 5-2 win over Akron Sunday from the LaTuchie Tennis Center.
The No. 3 doubles team of
Samantha Galloway and
Alexandra Whall started off with a 6-2 win over Akron's Tanja Derowsk and Enya Forgaci. The Zips rallied to win the final two doubles matches and take an early 1-0 lead.
Oakland answered winning five of the six singles matches to take the 5-2 win over Akron.

Aarja Chakraborty and Galloway all earned singles wins on the day.
The Golden Grizzlies (1-1) will host University of Toledo Sunday, Feb. 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Bloomfield Tennis & Fitness.
