ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland women's basketball Head Coach Jeff Tungate announced the 2019-20 non-conference schedule. The Golden Grizzlies will play a total of 11 games beginning with the home opener against Bradley on Friday, Nov. 8 followed by Concordia on Monday, Nov. 11.

"I'm excited about this year's schedule," said Tungate. "It will be a good challenge for our young team and prepare us well for league play."

After the two-game home stand, Oakland hits the road for a six-game swing starting at Chicago State (Nov. 16) and highlighted with trips to in-state Big Ten opponents Michigan State (Nov. 20) and Michigan (Dec. 8).

Following the Niagara game (Nov. 25), the Golden Grizzlies travel to the Sunshine State for the Florida International Classic with games at host FIU (Nov. 29) and against Jacksonville State (Dec. 1). Oakland then concludes the road swing at St. Bonaventure (Dec. 15).

The Golden Grizzlies close out the non-conference season with a home showdown against defending Mid-American Conference champion Central Michigan (Dec. 18) followed by Lourdes (Dec. 21).
