ROCHESTER, Mich. -  In their first home meet of the season, the Golden Grizzlies defeated their cross-town rivals Detroit Mercy, posting 20 different first place finishes. The men recorded 98 points to Detroit's 65 and the women tallied 114 points to the Titans 74.
 
Jimmie Williams placed first in both the 400m (49.00) and 200m (21.75) while mid-distance runner Madison Leigh took home two first place finishes in the 1500m (4:49.48) and the 800m (2:14.97).

The Golden Grizzlies Track and Field Teams will return to competition next weekend Apr. 12-13 in Rochester for the Annual Golden Grizzlies Invite where they will also honor their seniors for their years of dedication and hard work.
