UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Zach Stadnika continued his hot streak from day one of the Jet's Pizza Invite as he placed first overall in the men's heptathlon with 5225 points, breaking his own school record in the event.
YPSILANTI, Mich. – At the Can-Am International hosted by Eastern Michigan
Jimmie Williams placed first in the men's 300m dash with a time of 34.41.
Malcolm McIntyre crossed the finish line in sixth and
Corey Goodloe in seventh in the same heat. Grand Rapids native,
Junias Holmes placed fourth in the 60m dash with a time of 6.98 followed by Napoleon Outlaw in sixth place and
Sheldon Drake in seventh.
Chanel Gardner ran the women's 300m in 40.57 placing third while
Marcus Nellum placed sixth in the 60m hurdles with a mark of 8.45.
Madison Leigh and
Heather Czarnecki continued their consistency as Leigh placed third in the 800m with a time of 2:15.88 and Czarnecki placed fourth with a time of 2:19.44.
Landon Melling placed sixth in the men's 800m heat (1:59.56).
On the field event side, Kenton Rivard placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 50 ft., 4.5 in. Pole vaulters
Dana Tessmer and
Olivia Kane came in fourth and eighth respectively. Tessmer vaulted a height of 11 ft., 9.75 in.
In the long jump, freshman
Paige Sanders placed fifth with a mark of 17 ft., 4.75 in, while fellow freshman
Chase Novak placed ninth with a jump of 21 ft., 8.25 in.
Hannah Hall placed fifth in the high jump (5 ft., 3 in.) while
Alex Hugh-Plott placed sixth (6 ft., 4 in.) in the same event.
Oakland will continue competition Feb. 1-2 at the Notre Dame Meyo Invite.
