ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland University women's golf team opens its 2026-27 season at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, hosted by Central Michigan University. A shotgun start is scheduled for 9 a.m. (ET) on Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Sundance Course at the A-Ga-Ming Resort in Kewadin, Mich.

Oakland returns to the annual A-Ga-Ming Invitational for its sixth straight year. The Golden Grizzlies won the invitational in 2022 and finished runner-up in 2021 and 2023. Last season, senior Lily Bargamian helped lead the team to its best 54-hole finish of the year and a fourth-place finish, while tying for seventh overall at two-over 218.

Thirteen teams will compete in this year's competition: Central Michigan, Bellarmine, Bowling Green State, Bradley, Chicago State, Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, Indiana State, Loyola University Chicago, Murray State, Oakland, Ohio, and Western Michigan. 

Oakland's lineup features returners Bargamain and sophomores Channing Hagen and Logan Bentley. The trio returns after winning the program's third straight Horizon League Championship. Joining them are newcomers Hunter Edwards and Avery Manning, with Adrianna Mineo competing as an individual.

Action begins Sunday with the first two rounds and continues through Monday with the final 18. The team will tee off on holes five through eight, paired with golfers from Bradley, Detroit Mercy, and Murray State. Mineo will compete on hole nine along with Green Bay, Indiana State, and Loyola Chicago.
