ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland Golden Grizzlies Baseball team will wrap up their eight-game SEC road trip with a three-game series at No. 22/22 Texas A&M in College Station, Texas on March 6-8. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park on SEC Network+ with Will Johnson (PxP) and Ross Stripling (Color) on the call.
Oakland fell to No. 19 Tennessee on Wednesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium after the Volunteers jumped out to an early lead and finished with 11 runs on 12 hits. Tennessee scored three runs in the first and extended the advantage with a six-run start through three innings. Oakland's offense came from a pair of solo home runs, with fifth-year Kyle Revere hitting the first of his NCAA career in the sixth inning and Tony Konopiots adding another in the seventh. George Hansen started on the mound for the Golden Grizzlies, allowing eight runs over four innings, while Stephen Ruhle provided two scoreless relief innings with three strikeouts. Oakland will remain on the road for a three-game series at Texas A&M from March 6–8.
Fifth-year shortstop Kyle Revere was named to the College Baseball Hall of Fame's Brooks Wallace Award Watch List, noted as one of the top-100 shortstops in the country. It is named for former Texas Tech shortstop Brooks Wallace, who played for the Red Raiders from 1977 to 1980. Wallace died of leukemia at the age of 27.

Texas A&M is holding an 11-1 record, picking up four run-rule victories and a lone loss to No. 1 UCLA at the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. Under second-year head coach Michael Earley, the Aggies are hitting .340 at the plate, garnering 129 hits and 105 RBIs thus far on the season. From the mound, A&M possesses a 3.27 ERA with 105 strikeouts from the Aggie pitching staff.
