ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland University women's soccer program announced its 2026 spring schedule, featuring a mix of home and road contests highlighted by participation in the Michigan Spring Cup, one of the premier spring soccer events in the Midwest.
The Golden Grizzlies will open spring action at home on Saturday, March 14, hosting the University of Windsor at 3 p.m. The matchup against the Canadian opponent provides an early opportunity for Oakland to test itself against a different style of play while kicking off the spring slate on familiar turf.
Oakland will then head into Michigan Spring Cup play, beginning on Saturday, March 21, with a 3 p.m. road contest against Michigan State. The Spartans are coming off an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, setting up a high-level challenge for the Golden Grizzlies.
Spring Cup competition continues on Saturday, March 28, as Oakland faces Bowling Green State at 3 p.m. Bowling Green reached the MAC Conference Tournament final this past fall, adding another strong regional opponent to the schedule.
The Golden Grizzlies will play their final Spring Cup group-stage match on Friday, April 3, with an 8:30 p.m. kickoff as part of the event's showcase schedule.
The spring season will conclude with a Michigan Spring Cup playoff match on April 10–11, with the opponent determined by tournament standings. The Spring Cup format places added emphasis on each match, creating a competitive environment that mirrors postseason play while bringing together several of the region's top programs.
The Golden Grizzlies look to continue their growth as a program, building on a strong 2025 season with a high-level 2026 spring schedule.
