GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators recently announced its 2025 Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team, naming Oakland standouts
Anuhea Aluli,
Isabella Bierod and
Brooke Blackstock to the list.
The 2025 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the pitch and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately honors soccer student-athletes in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.
Aluli, a senior returner, made her mark as a forward, logging key minutes and scoring a clutch goal in the regular-season finale to help Oakland reach the postseason. Bierod emerged as one of the team's most dynamic attacking forwards, finishing with two goals and an assist on the year. Blackstock anchored Oakland's back line, recording 1,700 minutes — one of the top totals on the team.
All three Golden Grizzlies made significant contributions to the team's success in 2025, boosting on-field performance as Oakland earned its first postseason victory since 2021. They also served as leaders off the field and in the classroom.
