ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies host a week at home as they play Toledo their last midweek non-conference matchup of the season, before closing the week with a home series against Purdue Fort Wayne (PFW).
The Golden Grizzlies are on a hot streak coming into the week, winning four of their last five games, batting a combined .321 and scoring 42 runs in the four wins.
Brandon Nigh has been on a tear over the last week, batting .315 with a 1.277 OPS, three homers, and four RBI over his last five games.
Carter Hain is also on a five game hitting streak as Oakland's offense has come alive at the right time.

The Golden Grizzlies and the Rockets will face-off for the second time in two weeks, as Oakland looks to complete a two-game season sweep over Toledo after beating them 9-7 on the road on Apr. 21.
In the win, Oakland scored two runs in the top of the ninth to secure the victory, snapping a nine game road losing streak against Toledo.
In the all-time matchups against the Rockets, Oakland has fared well at home, holding a 5-2 record.
Since their loss to Oakland, Toledo has gone 2-2, beating Ohio State 11-6 the following game prior to a two games to one series loss to Eastern Tennessee.

The two teams last played on Mar. 28-30, where despite a sweep to Oakland, the Golden Grizzlies lost the three games by a combined margin of three runs, falling via walk-off twice.
Oakland (6-15 HL) sits half a game behind the Mastodons (6-14 HL) in the Horizon League standings. A series win for the Golden Grizzlies to as high as fourth in the standings.
The matchup may serve for a good chance for Oakland to continue to pick up momentum. PFW is the worst hitting team in the conference, with a .258 batting average. They also rank last in categories like runs scored, slugging percentage, and on base percentage.
 On the other side, Oakland is the third best pitching team, with a 7.72 ERA, with Hunter Pidek and Grant Garman as one of the top one-two punches on the mound in the conference.
