ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University women's tennis player
Martyna Piechowicz travels to San Diego, Calif., to compete in the 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships from Nov. 6-9 at the Barnes Tennis Center.
The ITA Conference Championships designates one singles player and one doubles team from each Division I conference to participate. Four singles players (all semifinalists) and three doubles teams (champion, finalist, third place) will qualify for the NCAA Championships through the Conference Masters.
Piechowicz is representing the Horizon League in singles play, while Line Greyling and Yeseniia Ovcharova from Youngstown State will represent the league in doubles play. Both earned their spots in the championship during the Horizon League Fall Championships back in September.
This is the second year of the ITA Conference Masters Championships, introduced last year as a new pathway to the NCAA Individual Championships. Piechowicz is the first Golden Grizzly to qualify for the championship.
Play begins on Thursday, where Piechowicz will compete against fifth-ranked Alexia Harmon from Pepperdine at 12:00 PM EST (9 AM PST).
