GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A handful of Oakland cross country runners, from both the men's and women's side, wrapped up the Knight Invite, hosted by Calvin University, this afternoon.

A trio of runners raced to the finish line from the women's team, as Genavieve Kushner-Lopez led the squad with a 12th place finish with a time of 23:19.1. Brooke Aho was right behind, in 21st place, as she finished with a time of 24:01.6, followed by Maia Conway who placed 52nd, crossing the finish line in 25:17.8.

On the men's side, Josiah Magley led the pair of Golden Grizzlies with a time of 26:38.5, good for 24th place, as Bryce Nowik placed 59th with a final time of 28:02.9.

Both the men's and women's teams are back in action next week as it heads down south Saturday (Oct. 5), for the Louisville XC Classic in Louisville, Ky.
