INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – From big performances at the Ray Bullock Invitational on Friday, senior Amy Rowan and freshman Lucas Kuhn were named Horizon League Runners of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.

Rowan, from Sterling Heights, earns her first weekly nod after competing in her first meet of the season in Upland, Ind. She wrapped up the 6k in 14th place, finishing at 23:01.55 to lead the Golden Grizzly women.

Kuhn was tabbed Men's and Freshman Runner of the Week, after cutting his previous 8k by 30 seconds. He led the men's team in 30th place, finishing at 26:81.32 for a new personal record.

Oakland is back on the course next weekend for a split Friday at the Alabama Crimson Classic at Alabama and the Falcon Invitational at Bowling Green.
