ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland men's and women's cross country teams are back in competition heading back to Indiana for the Ray Bullock Invitational. The meet, hosted by Taylor University, has scheduled a women's 6k starting at 4 p.m. and men's 8k kicking off at 5 p.m. ET at the TUXC Farm on the west side of campus.
The Golden Grizzlies had a meet for the record books last weekend as the men's team saw three runners sub-24 minutes at the Joe Piane Invitational in South Bend. Senior Wesley Hollowell broke the men's program's 8k with a 23:51.50 finish for 45th place in their division. Freshman Eliza Bush hit a personal best on the course, wrapping up her 6k in 17:27.40 for a fifth place finish out of 150 runners in the division.
A late addition to the Golden Grizzlies' 2025 schedule, Oakland has never ran at the invitational before. Live timing for both races are available HERE.
