ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Women's Tennis takes on a two-match home weekend against Chicago State and Milwaukee for the first conference competitions of the regular season. 

Doubles pair Isabella Popma and Emma Hultqvist fell to the Warrior 2-6 to lead off doubles play, and then pair Emilia Jarvinen and Edie Hammond ended their match with a score of 1-6. 

In singles play, Jarvinen took her match into three sets ultimately dropping the last set 10-7 for the loss. Hammond, Popma, Hultqvist, and Tara Montreuil couldn't hang onto the sets resulting in the 0-7 loss for the Golden Grizzlies.

This weekend marks the first home series for Oakland for the spring season at the Bloomfield Township Health and Tennis Center. Competition begins at 4:30 pm on both Friday and Saturday night.
