TOLEDO, Ohio. – The Oakland Women's Tennis team returns from Toledo after completing their fall slate of competition. 

The Golden Grizzlies faced off against both Toledo and Cleveland State in the Toledo Invitational, where they went 10-16 overall. The team got going strong Friday where they went 8-7. Friday showcased mainly doubles match-ups, and some singles competition. Saturday concluded the invitational with solely singles play. 

Numerous Golden Grizzlies secured wins during the Toledo Invitational. Emilia Jarvinen, Warisara "Best" Lee, Edie Hammond, and Martyna Piechowicz saw continued success in doubles competition. Nisa Bulut and Josie Ward also secured a win in doubles match-ups. Nisa Bulut earned a pair of singles wins on Saturday to help the Golden Grizzlies.
