DAYTON, Ohio - In what will be their fourth-straight game against the Norse, the 2-seed Oakland Golden Grizzlies will square off with 3-seed Northern Kentucky in Game 4 of the 2023 Horizon League Tournament at Nischwitz Stadium on the campus of Wright State University on Thursday, May 25 at 3 p.m.
Oakland will serve as the home team and this contest will air live on ESPN+ (subscription required).
Rounding out the regular season, these two clubs played three games in Rochester from May 18-20, with the Golden Grizzlies taking two.
As with the 1-seed Wright State Raiders, Oakland earned a Wednesday, May 24 bye in this tournament, while the Norse earned their spot in this game by picking up a 6-3 first-day victory over the 6-seed Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.

Headlined by Madison Heights fifth-year senior shortstop Noah Fisher being named the 2023 Horizon League Player of the Year, Northern Kentucky had four First Team players, which also include Phoenix, Arizona junior left fielder Colton Kucera, who missed the May 18-20 series with an injury, and Liberty Township, Ohio junior right-hander Clay Brock, their likely Thursday starter.
Wright State will clash with the 5-seed Milwaukee Panthers, who defeated the 4-seed Youngstown State Penguins Wednesday, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, with the winners of this game and the Oakland-Northern Kentucky contest advancing to Game 6 at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 26 and the two losing teams meeting in Game 5 of the double-elimination tournament at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
