Men's Basketball to Participate in 2023 Cayman Islands Classic

GEORGE TOWN, GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS. – Oakland University Men's Basketball has been added to the 2023-24 field of the prestigious Cayman Islands Classic from November 19-21 at the John Gray Gymnasium.

The tournament will feature two NCAA Tournament teams in Drake and Utah State out of the Missouri Valley Conference and Mountain West Conference, respectively, with Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Stephen F. Austin, Marshall, and Loyola Marymount participating as well.

Matchups are yet to be determined as the longest-tenured head coach in NCAA Division I Greg Kampe will lead the squad to its third-straight tropical tournament, the team's fourth in five years.
