INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Horizon League has announced the 2026-27 league schedule, featuring 18 conference contests for the Golden Grizzlies beginning Dec. 2 and continuing through the regular season finale on Feb. 27.

Oakland opens Horizon League play at home, hosting Northern Kentucky on Dec. 2 on the Blacktop before traveling to IU Indy on Dec. 5, then returning home to host the Wisconsin Horizon League teams: Green Bay and Milwaukee on Dec. 30 and Jan. 3.

The Black and Gold hit the road for a pair of games at Youngstown State on Jan. 6 and Robert Morris on Jan. 9 before traveling to Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 14. Oakland returns home Jan. 17 to face Detroit Mercy in the first edition of the #MetroSeries before making the trip to Milwaukee on Jan. 20.

Oakland hosts Cleveland State on Jan. 23 before traveling to Northern Illinois on Jan. 27. The Golden Grizzlies return to the OU Credit Union O'rena on Jan. 30 to host Youngstown State to close out the month.

The Golden Grizzlies begin February with a home meeting against Wright State on Feb. 4 before traveling to Cleveland to take on the Vikings on Feb. 7. Oakland returns home for consecutive contests against IU Indy on Feb. 11 and Robert Morris on Feb. 13, followed by a Feb. 17 home matchup against Purdue Fort Wayne for the final regular-season home game of the season.

Oakland closes the regular season on the road, traveling down to Detroit Mercy on Feb. 21, before meetings with Northern Kentucky and Wright State on Feb. 24 and Feb. 27.

The 2027 Horizon League Tournament is scheduled for March 1-9.
