ROCHESTER, Mich. – On Monday, Oakland University Women's Soccer goalkeeper Noemi Stadelmann was named #HLWSOC Defensive Player of the Week after putting up a wall between the posts to start 2-0 on the season.
 
Stadelmann has recorded a shutout in each game played to start the year with a 1-0 win over DePaul and 2-0 victory against Kent State. Stadelmann faced a total of two shots against the Blue Demons and had to use her athleticism to stave off six attempts from the Golden Flashes.
 
The Switzerland native and her team are back on the pitch at home for the first time this season on Thursday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. against Akron.
