Rochester, Mich. – Wrapping up a five-game road swing with a doubleheader sweep of Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday, April 24, Oakland will return home for a three-game Horizon League series with the Milwaukee Panthers beginning Friday, April 29 at 2:30 p.m.
The middle game of the series, Saturday, April 30, will take place at 2 p.m., followed by the Sunday, May 1 finale at 1 p.m.
Oakland enters play at 19-20 (9-7), good for third in the league standings, while the Panthers are 15-21 and at the bottom of the conference at 4-10 in league play.
All-time series against Milwaukee
First meeting when the Golden Grizzlies joined the Horizon League in the 2014 season, Oakland and Milwaukee have battled 43 times, with the Panthers holding a 26-17 edge.
Dating to April 3, 2021, however, the Golden Grizzlies have won four of the last six in the series.

Left-handed-hitting junior second baseman Mark Connelly, a DeWitt and Lansing Community College product, paces Milwaukee with a .318 batting average (34-107) and is tied with fellow junior Luke Seidel, the club's left fielder, for the team lead with seven doubles.
Seidel owns a .310 average (39-126) and has stolen a team-high 13 bases in 15 attempts.
Out of the bullpen, freshman Keagon Kaufmann, 6-foot-6 redshirt junior Ryan Hoerter, sophomore James Severson, and senior Mike Edwards, all of whom are right-handers, have been popular options for Doffek, making a combined 40 appearances.
