ROCHESTER, Mich. - Ian Cleary has been named #HLBASE Batter of the Week as announced by the league on Wednesday. 

In the four-game series against Marshall University, Cleary added his name to the Oakland University baseball record book as he tied for first in most home runs in a game after he hit three out of the park in the third game of the series. The record Cleary tied had previously been set in 2004. Cleary also had a grand slam home run in the first game of the doubleheader, earning him four home runs for the day. The junior tallied nine RBI, five runs, and four hits during the Saturday doubleheader, going 4-6 at the plate. 

Oakland will travel to take on Southern Illinois University Edwardsville this upcoming weekend.
