DOROH NAMED TO COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS TOP ASSISTANT COACHES LIST

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland men's soccer assistant coach Paul Doroh was named one of 16 top division one assistant coaches in the nation for fall 2021 by College Soccer News.

Doroh joined the men's soccer program under Eric Pogue in 2016 as an assistant coach and was named associate head coach in 2020. Before joining the Oakland staff, he was part of the coaching staff at SVSU. An Oakland men's soccer native himself, Doroh played for the team as a defender and made his initial mark as a four-year starter, team captain, and All-America selection. Doroh is an essential part of leading the next generations of Oakland men's soccer.

"Coach Doroh has proven himself to be one of the best Associate Head Coaches in NCAA Division 1 with his tireless work ethic, passion, intensity, and strong interpersonal relationships with our student-athletes past, present, and future—both the Pioneers of the NCAA D2 days as a Hall of Honor member and multi-year D2 All American, as well as the Golden Grizzlies," Pogue said.

"Paul bleeds Black & Gold, and that love shows in all aspects of his position. We are very blessed to have Paul as a part of our family, as he was integral to our dual Horizon League titles in Fall 2021 and our quest for more titles in 2022 and beyond."

Doroh has also renewed his contract with the men's coaching staff for another year.
