
FRANKLIN, Wisc. - Cam Post went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI run and a stolen base while
Travis Densmore picked up his second win of the season in relief out of the bullpen going 2.2 innings allowing only one run on three hits with a strikeout as Oakland won its second consecutive game taking the doubleheader opener 5-2 at Milwaukee.
Justyn Schoening also made an impact on the mound throwing one scoreless inning while allowing no hits to pick up his first career save. The Panthers rebounded and took the nightcap 21-3.
Michael Stygles hits 1-for-2 with a double, a walk and RBI while
Lorenzo Elion also contributed, going 1-for-4 for Oakland with a double.
Jared Miller also hit 1-for-3 with a pair of runs while
Seth Tucker also recorded a hit on thee trips to the plate.
Oakland (11-23, 5-18 HL) got on the board immediately plating a run on a based-loaded walk by Brandon Heidal to score Miller in the first inning.
The Golden Grizzlies pushed across another run on Stygles' two-out RBI double, to take lead a 2-0 in the top of the third inning.
Milwaukee (16-22, 13-14 HL) pulled within a run at 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth off a home run before Tucker delivered a single in which Blake Griffith was able to score off a fielding error on the play to move Oakland ahead 3-1.
Oakland kept the Panthers scoreless before their offense got back in action the next inning. Elion crossed home plate with the lone run of the inning for the Golden Grizzlies, bringing the Oakland advantage to 3-1.
Elion scored off a wild pitch in the fifth inning followed by Posts' RBI single in the seventh scoring Miller to put Oakland ahead for good at 5-2.
Schoning came into the game with runners on first and second with no outs and was able to keep Milwaukee off the board with two force outs and a ground out to secure the save.

Milwaukee was able to score a season-high 21 runs highlighted by a grand slam home run and a two-run shot to plate six runs in the first along with another grand slam homer which lead to eight runs in the third inning.
Josh Dudden led Oakland going 2-for-3 with an RBI and run while Stygles also hit 2-for-3.
Gabe Lux added an RBI single,
Ian Cleary posted a double while
Drew Collins went 1-for-2. Miller, Elion and Griffith also recorded a hit each.
Dudden scored on a wild pitch in the second inning and recorded his second hit of the game with an RBI single to score Elion in the sixth inning.
