- Appeared in 40 games, starting 30, primarily as a left fielder or designated hitter
- Slashed .236/.363/.345 with one double, one triple, three home runs, 19 RBI and seven stolen bases in 110 at-bats
- Clubbed a pinch-hit two-run home run in the April 1 victory over the Youngstown State Penguins
- Recorded 9 hits in 12 at-bats (.750) with a triple, a home run, three runs and two RBI during a three-game stretch against the Pittsburgh Panthers of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Wright State Raiders from May 4-6
2021:
• Horizon League All-League second team selection
• Horizon League Baseball All-Academic Team selection with a 3.68 overall GPA majoring in Integrative Studies and 3.86 GPA in 2021 winter semester
• Started in 36-of-38 games played at first base and designated hitter leading the team in average (.382 – 4th HL), hits (55), RBI (38), home runs (4), doubles (12 – T-5th HL), total bases (79) and slugging percentage (.549) while ranking fifth in walks (17) and runs scored (23).
• Secured a 10-game hitting streak this season and led the league in batting (.419 - league game statistics only)
• Tied for the team lead in multi-RBI games (9) and ranked second in multi-RBI games (14)
• Named Nike® Horizon League Co-Batter of the Week (5/11) after hit a blistering .692 going 9-for-13 for the second consecutive league series. He added nine RBI with a home run, double with 13 total bases, 1.000 slugging percentage and .688 on-base percentage to lead Oakland to the team's second consecutive Horizon League series win of the season taking 3-of-4 games against Northern Kentucky. In Oakland's 9-6 series-opening win, Stygles belted a three-run home run while going 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI. He then hit 4-for-6 with two RBI, double, and a run in the doubleheader split. In the series-clinching win, Stygles went 2-for-4 delivering a clutch two-run single breaking a 3-3 tie with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Oakland to a 5-3 win.
• Led the team hitting .692 going 9-for-13 with three RBI, two doubles, two runs, and 12 total bases with a .923 slugging percentage and .714 on-base percentage to lead Oakland to the team's first Horizon League series win of the season at Milwaukee (4/30-5/2). He went 2-for-4 in the series-opening win, 1-for-2 with a double, walk and RBI in the game two win and 2-for-3 in game three. Stygles saved his best for last with a stellar day at the plate hitting 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored to lead Oakland to an 8-6 come-from-behind win in the series finale.
• During the two-week stretch against Milwaukee and NKU, hit a combined .692 going 18-for-25 with 12 RBI, four doubles, three-run home run, five runs, two walks and 25 total bases along with a .962 slugging percentage and .700 on-base percentage.
• Hit .571 going 8-for-14 with three RBI, two doubles, two runs and 10 total bases against Milwaukee (4/2-3)
• Closed out the 2021 campaign hitting .455 going 5-for-11 with a home run, three RBI and five runs scored against Purdue Fort Wayne (5-21-22) helping Oakland to its third league series win of the season.
2020 (Remainder of the season canceled due to COVID-19 Pandemic):
• Started in all 12 games
• Was off to a hot start in 2020 leading the team in hitting (.395), hits (15), RBI (8), OPS (1.026), slugging percentage (.526) and on-base percentage (.500). Ranked second in doubles (2) and total bases (20)
• Hit a perfect 7-for-7 overall going 3-for-3 at Cincinnati (3/1) followed by 4-for-4 at Kentucky (3/8) in consecutive games hitting his first career home run with two doubles
• Went 2-for-3 in Oakland's win at Akron (2/16)
• Hit 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs at Alabama State (2/21)
• On the mound, made one appearance going 3.0 innings in relief with a career-high four strikeouts in losing effort at Alabama State (2/21)
