ROCHESTER, Mich. –The Oakland tennis team welcomes University of Toledo for its home opener Sunday, Feb. 9 at Bloomfield Tennis and Fitness beginning at 4:30 p.m.
 
The Golden Grizzlies are coming off a 5-2 win over MAC foe Akron. Ava Thielman, Nirva Patel, Victoria Kurz, Aarja Chakraborty and Samantha Galloway all earned singles wins against the Zips. 
 
Oakland was selected to finish third in the 2020 Horizon League women's tennis preseason poll. The Golden Grizzlies received two first place votes. It marks the second straight season Oakland has been selected to finish third place.
