ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Golden Grizzlies will travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. for one last doubleheader before post season play begins. Oakland will take on Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday at 1:30 pm and Ball State at 4 pm.
 
Oakland has won their last two conference series against Green Bay and Cleveland State. Going into the weekend, the Golden Grizzlies are sitting in sixth place in the league.
 
All games will be broadcast for free on Youtube as well as live stated.
 
Notes
-Oakland is one of the only Horizon League school not playing this weekend, therefore must wait until competition is completed throughout the conference to assure a spot in the conference tournament.
-In conference play, Kelsie Swanson (5^th, .354), Brittney Miller (6^th, .354) and Jamie Squires (9^th, .333) all rank within the top 10 in batting average.
-Squires and Swanson rank seventh and tenth respectively in slugging percentage while Miller ranks fourth in on-base percentage.
-The last time Oakland met Ball State was last season (Feb. 24) where Oakland came out on top 1-0.
-In the month of April, Jamie Squires hit .391 with three doubles, three home runs and 16 runs scored. She owns a slugging percentage of .652 as well as on on-base percentage of .481.
-Oakland is coming off of a mid-week split against Western Michigan, dropping game one 15-3 and winning game two 7-2.
