ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland baseball team closes out the regular season with a league series against Wright State that will be played at Mercy Field in Toledo, Ohio which serves as the home field to Lourdes University and Central Catholic High School. The Golden Grizzlies and Raiders will play a doubleheader on Thursday, May 16 beginning at noon presented by United Shore followed by the series finale on Friday, May 17 at 11:30 a.m. for Senior Day presented by Ascension Providence Rochester.
 
This will be the final series for seniors Matt DiLeo, Ryan Fitzgerald, Cole Gibson, Max Lebrato, Ronnie Krsolovic, Mike McGee, Nick Parr, Austin Sherry, Austin Tangney and Myles Zilinsky.

Notes:
A look at the Raiders:
- Defending Horizon League champion Wright State is 37-15 overall on the season and sits atop the league standings at 19-8 in league play after sweeping Northern Kentucky last weekend.
 
Wright State Series Rewind:
- Earlier this season, Oakland had won three consecutive league series entering the weekend series at defending champion Wright State. However, WSU swept all three games (6-2, 16-4, 11-3). Against the Raiders, Drew Demumbrum hit .385 with five hits and two home runs and three RBI. Blake Griffith hit .368 with five RBI off seven hits including two doubles while Cherokee LeBeau hit .357 five hits and two RBI.
 
Last time out in league play:
- After dropping the first two games at Milwaukee, Matt DiLeo hit 2-for-5 connecting on a three-run home run while Myles Zilinsky added a solo shot helping Oakland snap an eight-game skid with a 6-5 win in the series finale. Nick Parr picked up his third win of the season going 6.0 innings allowing only two runs (one earned) with a season-high seven strikeouts. Austin Sherry also recorded his fourth save on the year going 2.0 innings in relief. Ronnie Krsolovic and Cherokee LeBeau each hit 2-for-4 with an RBI while Mario Camilletti also posted two hits.
 
Behind the plate:
- DiLeo has reached base in 34 consecutive games and leads the team hitting (.323), hits (50), triples (2 - 8th Horizon League), runs scored (31) and total bases (72). He ranks second in home runs (4), stolen bases (11 – 9th HL), slugging percentage (.465) and on base percentage (.445 – 8th HL) and third in walks (27), RBI (24). He is also tied with team-best 12 multi-hit games with three 3-hit games.
 
- Mario Camilletti leads the team walks (43 – 3rd HL, 31st nationally and 18th nationally in base-on balls per game at 1.02) and doubles (10), ranks second in hits (45), runs (28) and average (.288)
 
- Blake Griffith leads the team in home runs (6 - 10th Horizon League) and slugging percentage (.466) while ranking second in RBI (28), total bases (68), third in hits (42), fourth in walks (22) and fifth in doubles (6)
- He has recorded five RBI twice against EKU and Milwaukee with six total multi-RBI games and posted a team third-best nine multi-hit games including one 3-hit and one 4-hit game
 
- Drew Demumbrum leads the team in RBI (30), stolen bases (12 – 7th Horizon League), sacrifice flies (3 – 10th HL) and at bats (161), ranks second in home runs (5), third in doubles (8), triples (1), total bases (64), third in slugging percentage (.398) and fifth in in hits (39)
- He has posted team-best seven multi-RBI games with five at YSU and is second with 10 multi-hit games with six 2-hits, three 3-hit, one 4-hit games
 
- Mike McGee also leads the team in at bats (161), ranks second on the team doubles (9), triples (1), fourth in runs (24), stolen bases (5), hits (41) and fifth in total bases (55)
 
- Myles Zilinsky ranks second on the team in walks (37 – 6th Horizon League), third in runs (27) and fourth in home runs (4), doubles (7) and RBI (19). He has a team second-best nine multi-hit games with eight 2-hit and one 3-hit games.
 
On the mound:
- Beau Keathley leads the team and is fourth in the league in strikeouts (77) and has recorded double figure strikeouts twice this season at Morehead State (12) and at YSU (13). He also ranks 26th nationally in hits allowed per nine innings (5.71).

- Austin Sherry leads the staff in saves (4) followed by Cameron Fuller (2)
