ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland baseball team travels to East Lansing, Mich. for a mid-week non-conference game at Michigan State on Tuesday, Apr. 23 at 6:35 p.m. The game will be broadcast live from McLane Baseball Stadium at Kobs Field on the Big Ten Network 2-Go (BTN2GO) for paid subscriptions only and on the radio via the Spartan Sports Network.

- Last week at Toledo, Drew Demumbrum hit 3-for-5 with two RBI, a double and three stolen bases while Myles Zilinsky also went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a RBI as Oakland fell, 18-9. Matt DiLeo and Blake Griffith each went 2-for-4 while Ronnie Krsolovic belted a two-run homer. Jace Matkin also added an RBI single.
 
- The Golden Grizzlies resumed league play at UIC winning two games to take the series. Nick Parr came out on top of a pitcher's duel picking up his second win of the season going 7.0 innings while not allowing a hit through five innings with four strikeouts while Cameron Fuller recorded his second save closing out the final 2.0 innings with three strikeouts to lead Oakland to a 2-1 series opener on Friday. Krsolovic went 2-for-3 while Cherokee LeBeau hit 1-for-4 with a RBI and run scored. Drew Demumbrum also hit 1-for-3 with a double while DiLeo and Blake Griffith each added a hit.
 
- Andrew Hoffmann picked up his second win of the season going 7.0 innings allowing only two unearned runs on four scattered hits with four strikeouts while Blake Griffith accounted for all of Oakland's runs going 2-for-4 with three RBI as the Golden Grizzlies held off UIC in game one, 3-2, to win the series on Saturday. Austin Sherry also locked down his third save. The Flames took game two, 7-1, to split the doubleheader.
 
- DiLeo has reached base in 26 consecutive games and leads the team in hitting (.310), hits (39), triples (2 – 5th HL), runs scored (25) and stolen bases (8 – 7th HL) while ranking third in home runs (3) and walks (22 – 9th HL)
 
- Camilletti leads the team walks (34 – 4th HL, 27th Nationally), ranks third in hits (35) and fourth in average (.273)
 
- Demumbrum leads the team in RBI (28 – 9th HL), home runs (5 – 6th HL), and total bases (61), ranks second in slugging percentage (.455) and third in hits (37)
 
- Mike McGee leads the team doubles (7) and ranks third in runs (22)
