OAKLAND CONCLUDES LONG ROAD SWING WITH MID-WEEK GAME AT EASTERN MICHIGAN

ROCHESTER, Mich. –
The Oakland baseball team concludes its 24-game road swing with a mid-week non-conference game at in-state foe Eastern Michigan at Oestrike Stadium on Wednesday, Apr. 3 at 6 p.m.
 
Notes:
- EMU is 5-22-1 on the season and 0-6 in Mid-American Conference play after dropping all three games against Miami (Ohio) last weekend. Both teams split the series 1-1 last season as the Golden Grizzlies won 4-2 at EMU with the Eagles winning the rematch at Oakland, 11-8.
 
- Demumbrum continues to swing a hot bat hitting .455 (5-for-11) with two doubles, a triple and five RBI with a .818 slugging percentage to lead Oakland to its second straight series win at NKU. In the opener, he was a home run away from hitting for the cycle going 3-for-3 with a triple, double and single with three RBI in the Golden Grizzlies 8-5 win. In the 3-2 setback, he accounted for both of Oakland's runs going 2-for-3 with an RBI double.
 
- Keathley picked up his second consecutive win going 6.0 innings with eight strikeouts allowing no runs and only three scattered hits in Oakland's 4-0 win at NKU which secured the team's second straight league series
 
- Mario Camilletti leads the team hits (24 – 10th HL) and walks (23 – 1st HL) and ranks third in hitting (.293) and RBI (12)
 
- Demumbrum leads the team and total bases (36) and RBI (20 – 6th HL) followed by Myles Zilinsky (14) who is leads the team in runs (15) and ranks fifth in hits (21)
 
- Mike McGee leads the team in hitting (.309), hits (25) and doubles (7 – 4th HL) and ranks second in runs (14) with Demumbrum
 
- Matt DiLeo ranks second in the team in hitting (.299), third in hits (23) and fourth in RBI (9) with Blake Griffith
 
- Zilinsky also leads the team in home runs (3– 10th HL) followed by DiLeo, Griffith and Demumbrum (2)
 
- On the mound, Beau Keathley leads the team and the league in strikeouts (54) and has recorded double figure strikeouts twice this season at Morehead State (12) and at YSU (13)

-  Nick Parr went 6.0 innings allowing only three hits with three runs and five strikeouts to pick up his first win of the season at NKU (3/29) with Austin Sherry also picking up his first save of the season
