ROCHESTER, Mich. – Dasha Artamonova won a clutch match at the No. 3 singles spot to guide the Oakland tennis team to a 5-2 win over Wright State Friday from Bloomfield Tennis and Fitness.
 
The Golden Grizzlies (12-8, 6-2 HL) lost the doubles point early on, but bounced back in singles play winning five of the six matches to give Oakland the 5-2 win over the Raiders.
 
Friday's win marks the third straight and the fifth win in six matches.
 
Oakland will continue league play Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Bloomfield Tennis and Fitness against Northern Kentucky (7-11, 3-5 HL) in its annual senior day match, honoring Dasha Artamonova, Sofia Borcuti, and Amanda Nilsson. The senior day ceremony will begin at approximately 3:50.
