BUFFALO, N.Y. – Ava Thielman won in No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-4 as the Oakland tennis team fell to Buffalo 5-2 Saturday from the Miller Tennis Center.
 
Samantha Galloway earned a win at the No. 4 spot finishing 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-7).
 
Alexandra Whall and Amanda Nilsson won in No. 2 doubles, 6-3.
 
The Golden Grizzlies are back in action Sunday as they take on Binghamton beginning at 11 a.m.
