ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland baseball team travels to Richmond, Kentucky for the final non-conference series of the season against Eastern Kentucky at Turkey Hughes Field at Earle Combs Stadium. The Golden Grizzlies and Colonels play the series opener on Friday, Mar. 8 at 4 p.m. followed by game two on Saturday, Mar. 9 at 2 p.m. The series finale is set for Sunday, March 10 at 1 p.m.

- Against the RedHawks, Blake Griffith led the Golden Grizzlies hitting .444 for the series followed by Ronnie Krsolovic who hit .364. In the finale, Griffith went 4-for-4 with an RBI triple while Clay Thompson and Drew Demumbrum each added an RBI as Oakland came up short, 5-3. Beau Keathley had another solid outing on the mound allowing only two runs with five strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work.
 
- Mario Camilletti leads the team in hitting (.351), hits (13), runs (8), total bases (17) and is tied with Myles Zilinsky in RBI (7). Zilinsky, Mike McGee and Matt DiLeo all rank second on the team with 10 hits each.
