
ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland baseball team travels to Oxford, Ohio for a series against Miami. Due to possible weather conditions in the area, the Golden Grizzlies and RedHawks will play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 1 at McKie Field at Hayden Park. The series finale is set for Saturday, Mar. 2 with the game time yet to be determined.

- Against the Eagles,
Mario Camilletti hit .412 with seven hits, a home run, two runs and 10 total bases in a four-game set at Morehead State. In the first game, he went 3-for-6 with a three-run home run and a pair of RBI singles totaling six RBI helping Oakland rally from a 10-0 deficit tying the game at 12-12 in the top of the ninth before falling to a walk-off on a throwing error.

- In the finale,
Beau Keathley delivered solid performance on the mound tossing a career-high 12 strikeouts with a no-hitter though six innings while allowing only one hit in 7.1 total innings of work with two earned runs in a no decision effort.
Blake Griffith also hit his first career home run. However, the Eagles got two runs off balks and eventually won 4-3 on a walk-off walk in the bottom of the ninth.

- Oakland opened the 2019 season dropping a series at Western Carolina. The Golden Grizzlies fell 21-9 in game one and then 9-8 and 12-2 in a doubleheader. In the doubleheader,
Drew Demumbrum hit a combined 4-for-8 with two RBI and a run while
Matt DiLeo also went 4-for-8 with two runs and an RBI as Oakland lost in walk-off fashion in game one.
Mario Camilletti went 4-for-8 with three runs and an RBI.
