
ROCHESTER, Mich. - As the temperature starts to creep back toward that fall feeling, many members of the Oakland baseball team are returning back to campus after successful summer baseball campaigns around the country. The following is a list of some impactful student-athlete summer performances in preparation for the upcoming 2019 season.

Beau Keathley (Sophomore RHP, Taylor, Mich.) had nothing but success in the always-competitive Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League. Selected as an All-Star, as well as a finalist for both Pitcher and Reliever of the Year, Keathley allowed just one earned run in his 19 1/3 innings pitched. On top of the 0.46 ERA, Keathley posted a 3-0 record with four saves.

Ryan Fitzgerald (Senior OF, Mount Vernon, Ohio) got off to a hot start and didn't look back playing for the Covington Lumberjacks of the Valley Baseball League. Fitzgerald posted a .287 batting average while getting on base at an impressive .391 clip. The speedy outfielder also stole 13 bases and showed good power hitting seven doubles, one triple, and a homerun with 18 RBI.

Nick Parr (Senior RHP, Powell, Ohio) made the most of his limited innings in the Valley Baseball League. Parr compiled a 2-1 record on the mound with over 25 innings pitched earning All-Star honor. The rising senior struck out 24 batters posting a 2.52 ERA for the Waynesboro Generals.

Tyler Trovinger (Junior INF, Mona Shores, Mich.) also posted a strong summer in his limited action with the Waynesboro Generals driving in 11 runs with a .380 on-base percentage.

Mario Camilletti (Sophomore INF, Sterling Heights, Mich.) and Cam Post (Sophomore C, New Lenox, Ill.) had impactful seasons for the Southampton Breakers of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League. Camilletti posted a .285 batting average (.426 OBP) with eight doubles, two home runs and 15 RBI. Despite splitting time behind the plate for the Breakers, Post recorded a solid .324 on-base percentage while adding four doubles and six RBI.

Max Lebrato (Senior RHP, Dubai, United Arab Emirates) tossed 26 innings with 13 appearances for the Irish Hills Leprechauns of the Great Lakes League earning Second-Team All-League honors with a 2-1 record, two saves and 3.11 ERA.
