BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. - The No. 2 doubles tanum of Alexandra Whall and Darya Maltseva pulled out their match against Jana Schober and Blanche Lenoan, 7-5, to secure the doubles point after Dasha Artamonova and Allison Motea won 6-2 over Gaby Schoenberg and Anastasia Perin at the No. 3 position. However, Oakland could not capitalize in singles play falling to Cleveland State, 6-1, in the home finale on Sunday.

CSU was able to come from behind winning all six singles matches in straight sets. Whall battled but came up short in her match at No. 4 singles, 7-5, 7-6.

Oakland travels to arch-rival Detroit Mercy for a Metro Series showdown on Sat. April, 14 at 12 p.m.
